Ernest Velon, alias Leo Guabello Jr., was born in 1950 to parents who are readers of books on history and romance. Graduating from high school in 1970, E.Velon already was writing short stories based upon the Star Trek series. This fueled a basic need to create a new and different universe based upon life on Saturn. Working on the ‘Immense Epic’, a vast fantasy history of the Amazian (Saturn) civilization, branched out into mystery writing. Always a fan of the ‘Sherlock Holmes’ novels, E.Velon created the Alack Troyus character in 1997, and with the advent of electronic publishing, wrote the full novel ‘The Man from Hardin’. Published in 2000, this book tells the story of Alack Troyus and lays the foundation for the full Troyuan Chronicle’s series of adventure books. Once done, E.Velon published The Troyuan Chronicles, book one, book two, book three and book four, all harboring short stories of Alack’s detective work amongst the stars.

Ernest Velon is currently working on a fifth Troyuan Chronicle book due out in 2009. An avid reader of Roman history, Velon enjoys numerous discussion groups on the internet. He is the producer/writer of the ‘Thracian Bound’ series on Googlevideo.com, which is based upon the Troyuan Chronicle character. His favorite sport is men’s gymnastics, favorite science geology and astronomy.

Other full length stories and books, not published by E.Velon, is the ‘Captain Soton’ series, the novel ‘Wake of the Stellar Queen’ and the biblical epic, ‘Omnitempus’, dealing with Alack Troyus’s first off world caper.
